Our theme is based on the decor, not the movie. Sign-up is required by January 28. We hope you can all attend and enjoy fellowshipping with some women you may not know very well! Lisa Montalbano will be sharing a bit about her job at Employment Horizons, where she works with Nancy Toolen and Bethany Dutton. Tiffany's happens to be one of the clients!
Pastor Bruce and I look forward to going through a six-week study of the epistle of 1 John on Saturday mornings from 8-10am at the Church Office, beginning Feb. 10 and concluding on March 17. We plan to have bagels and coffee and enjoy teaching, discussion and warm fellowship around God's Word.
The letter of 1 John is primarily about God's great love for his children. "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!" (1 John 3:1) When you receive a letter in the mail, it really helps to know who wrote it. So at our first meeting, we'll study the life of John, who was known as (1) "the beloved disciple." He was one of Jesus’ closest friends. John talks about some amazing things in this letter: (2) God is light. (3) Jesus is our propitiation. (4) Love your brother, not the world. (5) Antichrists and Counterfeit Christianity. (6) Children of God. Sign up is not required and we encourage you to attend, even if you can only make a couple of the dates.

The much-anticipated next study is here and ready to go! Please join us for an all new Women's Bible Study, "Discerning the Voice of God," with the well-known speaker and author Priscilla Shirer! In this study we will learn how the Lord speaks to His children and how we can better commune with him every day. Priscilla's father, Pastor Anthony Evans, participates in the study book as well. Priscilla is a very encouraging and motivating teacher and we are super excited to have this opportunity to share her ministry with you. Please consider joining us for seven Thursdays.
We will begin the study on February 8th with dinner for the first week starting at 6:30. Remaining six weeks will begin at 7:00pm. We have advanced purchased ten books and space is limited! Please click on the link below to reserve your book and RSVP for the dinner on the 8th.
If you have any questions, please see Heidi Weinmann or Wendy MacLean.
